What is Mental Health?


We all have mental health as well as physical health. It’s important we look after both. Sometimes it’s harder to know how to take care of our mental health or where to go if you need help.

Its important to keep active and look after your body as you will go through a lot of changes between the age of 11 and 16.

Your Annual Health Check

If you are over 14 years of age and you have a Learning disability you can ask your parent carer to book an appointment at the GP for an Annual Health Check.

An annual health check helps you stay well by talking about your health and finding any problems early, so you get the right care.
